Joe Ouko, a farmer innovator in Kenya and a member of the Prolinnova Oversight Group (POG), was a panelist in a webinar hosted by A Growing Culture (AGC). This was one in a webinar series on the theme “Hunger for Justice”. Joe shared his experiences with the locally formulated goat meal that he developed several years ago through a process of farmer-led research with Prolinnova–Kenya partners and that is now being marketed under the name LOFODA G-Meal. Joe’s innovation has stimulated many others in his community, mainly women, to take up dairy goat keeping, which has ignited a chain of innovation related to this activity.
