Strategic planning and PM&E workshop

In mid-September 2011, the core team in Prolinnova–Nigeria organised a training workshop on strategic planning and participatory monitoring and evaluation (PM&E). It was held for 5 days in the city of Kaduna. The trainer was Marise Espinelli from the International Institute of Rural Reconstruction (IIRR) in the Philippines, a member of the International Support Team. As a new member of the Prolinnova community of practice, Prolinnova–Nigeria faced a challenge of collectively making decisions and monitoring its progress, and therefore requested this training. The workshop discussions helped the network draw up a strategy paper and initial PM&E guidelines.
